Baby Girl

I had some scraps still still sitting on my desk so I decided to make a quick card. All supplies are from Teresa Collins except for the ribbon (CTMH) and the "baby (Making Memories).

It doesn't seem that long ago that I had a new baby girl and now she is all done kindergarten!!! EEK!! I am going to enjoy having her home with me this summer before I have to send her off to school everyday!

Have a WONDERFUL day!!

Happy Father's Day

My sweet hubby is an AMAZING father and my girls are SO lucky to have such a super dad. So I did this layout to honour him! I also happen to have a wonderful dad and I was lucky enough to spend most of this weekend with him!

This layout was for GCD Studios blog and I used the fabulous Artsy Urban and the Lydia collections. I also used the Chip Art Tool on my hearts ( I am SO addicted to that tool).

Doing masculine pages is not easy for me so I kept this page pretty simple. To add some fun and interest I decided to hand stitch part of my title. Here is how I did it:

Step 1: Use chipboard alpha to trace out the word.
Step 2: Pierce holes along pencil lines.
Step 3: Erase pencil lines.
Step 4: Hand stitch through holes.

Have a WONDERFUL day!!

Sisters - GCD Studios

Hello everyone! Today I have a layout to share with you for GCD Studios that was inspired by this fun photo! I love these cute dolls and the more I thought about them, I couldn't get the idea of lining them up smallest to biggest and it made me think about lining up my pictures of my kids as they were small to how big they have become! Don't you just love where inspiration can take you?

I was inspired by the color scheme of the large doll in the middle, so I used mostly blue, pink, green and yellow. I layered several strips of paper from the Homespun Chic and Lydia collections, and cut out some flowers from the Smoothie Shoppe collection. On the banner pieces, I used the chip art tools to add some fun dimension and pattern!

This layout was actually May's challenge so stay tuned for June's coming up soon:-) I delayed posting it here because it was in the GCD Studios newsletter, "In the Studio". Have you signed up to receive it yet? There are projects not shown on their blog in there as well as great tips and ideas! It even has a sketch to my layout in there!

First airplane

Monday already? Time sure is zipping by.....

I have another layout today using the travel ledger line from Teresa Collins. Such a super line to document my daughter's first airplane experience. They absolutely LOVED flying (unlike their mamma who has a slight fear of flying) and have been asking when they can go in an airplane again:-) It is good to know that they are excellent travellers so we can plan some more trips!

Once upon a time.....

Happy Weekend!!!! Finally we have been blessed with some sunshine! It is a beautiful day and I have been outside since 5am this morning:-)

Today I have a layout to share with you using FABULOUS product from Teresa Collins Designs. The Chic Bebe Girl line was perfect for my two princesses. Journaling reads: "It is absolutely precious to watch you girls dress-up and get swept away into your imaginary world. I am so lucky to be able to peek into that magical place every now and then!"

All supplies are from Teresa Collins except for the Acrylic Crown from Clear Scraps and the "upon a time" from Doodlebug.

Cards for Dad

Where does time go? I haven't posted in a LONG time but it is not for lack of crafting!

The facebook team for GCD Studios was given this photo for inspiration this month. My guy is not a tie guy, so I let the masculine colours inspire my cards! I used the Lydia and Artsy Urban collections from GCD Studios.

Thanks for stopping by :-) Tomorrow is reveal day for Art Freckles so be sure to come on back!!!
