S & Q

Here is a layout I did about my daughter and her adorable friend!!! They have SO much fun together!

I absolutely fell in love with Teresa Collin's stamps the second I saw them. They compliment the lines perfectly but are also easily adapted to use for any project. For my page, I used the freestyle set for the row of stars and added a tone on tone look. I love using stamps to make my own patterns!! I used the "friends" from this set too. I also used the clock from this set but cut out the middle and instead put in each child's initial - a GREAT way to stretch more use out of your stamps. And, finally I used the NOEL set as a place to write my date!

Have a GREAT weekend!!!

The theme of the blog hop is to do something either Fall, Thanksgiving or Halloween related. I decided to do this cute little paper pumpkin, made out of Teresa Collins Giving Thanks line. You can find the paper in the Art Freckles store here. I got the idea to do the pumpkin from HERE.

***Everyone who leaves comments on all the blogs will be entered to win one of THREE prizes***

Your next stop is Kaya Dupont's Blog.

Feed the birds

Happy Friday everyone! Here is a layout and blog post that I did for gcd studios:

Fall is definitely my favorite season!!! I love the cooler temperatures, the beautiful colors and most of all, I love feeding the birds!

I wanted to showcase the chickadee in my layout, so I used a circle from the chipboard shapes by Melody Ross and created a unique frame for my photo. It was super easy to do! First, I gathered my chip art supplies, and next, I de-embossed a cute bird all around my chipboard piece. Next, I painted the chipboard piece white and when it dried, I adhered my photo in the middle.

I hope you are out enjoying the fall weather! Have a wonderful day!

There is so much going on over at ART FRECKLES this month since it is Art Freckle's two year anniversary. You can find all of the details of all of the contests and prizes HERE.

One of the contests was the challenge our designers contest. This layout is my entry....well...sort of...hee hee. The challenge was to do a monochromatic layout (with a bit of a twist) and you can see my original layout and all the other great layouts here. However, afterwards, I added a bit more brown and a splash of red to my layout:-) I am such a rebel.

Lots of goodies on this page: My Mind's Eye, Studio Calico, Bella Blvd, Glitz Design, Creative Imaginations, and Close to my Heart!

Spider Treat Holder

Hello again blog...I've missed you!!! I took a little hiatus from "blog land" (not scrapbooking though...I've been doing LOTS of projects I will share soon). Its just that I have found a new love, well, its not "new" it has just reached a new obsessive level...hee hee.....it's my CAMERA. I got a new one and I can't stop. Unfortunately my kids have had enough of me so I have had to move on. I have been having a blast taking pictures of other people's kids, their babies, family photos, my dogs, unsuspecting chipmunks...etc. So if you want your picture taken, come on over! :-)

Here is a fun project I did for GCD Studios. It is
a fun way to give a little treat to
someone special. The spider body is a chipboard piece from gcd studios and I used the chip art tool to give him a fun pattern. Halloween will be here soon!!!! Are you ready?
